Info about what the role entails

·Providing assistance to R&D team for both new and established products.

·Validating the design of new products.

·Assessing the suitability of new components.

·Constructing prototypes.

·Conducting investigations and analysing failures.

·Diagnosing faults in PCBs and products.

·Fabricating cable harnesses and test fixtures.

·Installing firmware into products and utilizing configuration software.

·Collaborating with design engineers on new product initiatives.

·Performing pre-compliance tests on products, encompassing EMC and temperature assessments.

Requirements of the Test & Validation Engineer

. Experience with Microelectronics

·Testing electronics to component level

·Experience writing or modifying test plans

·Competent using hand tools, soldering components, crimping cables, and operating electronic test equipment

·Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.

·Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude are essential.
