Responsibilities
- Comply with all company Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Employee requirements, policies and procedures.
- Assemble and fit parts to form sub-assemblies, working at benches or directly on a machine structure.
- Assemble, fit and install parts and sub-assemblies such as jig’s, fixtures, pneumatics’, and other mechanical systems.
- Assembly, operation and maintenance of Robot cells
- Check assemblies for alignment, symmetry, dimensions, fit and work quality.
- Work on site to install equipment, test and operate
- Ensure the workplace always meets the companies housekeeping standards
- Carry out additional duties required to complete the assembly, operation and
Main tasks
- Read and interpret assembly diagrams.
- Working with Senior Engineers and Project Managers to fault find and commission machines and equipment
- Build to the appropriate quality standard and time allocated
- General machine shop experience and be able to use machines effectively – mill, drill, grind and turn.
- Be proactive and flexible with in the working environment and work under own initiative while working on site.
