Die Maintenance Technician

Our client is a leading and established manufactruing business, based in Tyne & Wear, who are looking to recruit a Die Maintenance Technician on a 6-2, 2-10 shift pattern and on a permament basis.
Duties will include:
Diagnosing tooling problems at press call out and potential repair of the tool at press.
Carry out maintenance repairs and refurbishment activities on press tools.
Carry out Preventative Maintenance activities to a schedule to maintain tool/die performance.
Modifications and improvement activities on the press tools supporting customer production part approval process (PPAP) and/or parts submission warrant (PSW).
Record/document die performance and quality concerns regarding the repair details to Die Maintenance Manager.
Support and maintain continuous improvements of 5s activities onsite to a high standard.
Experience Required
Candidates must be time served toolmakers, ideally with experience in the automotive sector.
Basic salary is £32423 plus 12% shift allowance
