An Automotive company focusing on the design and build of prototype and low volume high energy density lithium battery packs is now looking for a Simulink Software Engineer. The successful candidate will support the development of Simulink models for automotive model-based systems engineering for Battery Management systems and other EV applications.
 
The Simulink Software Engineer will:

• Assist with requirements capture, development, architecture design, and application software development.
• Support reviews, documentation and other 26262 related certification activities.
• Have an awareness of and support reviews, documentation, and audits relating to ISO26262, ISO9001 & ISO14001.
• Adhere to the organisation’s Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring all the processes and standards are always complied with.

 
The Simulink Software Engineer will have:

• Automotive experience, including HV applications and ISO26262.
• Ability to take a hands-on, methodical, approach to testing, fault finding and commissioning of systems.
• Self-motivation and eagerness to be involved at all stages of development.
• Experience of embedded control systems.
