Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for keeping critical sites running smoothly? We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a large critical site near Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Role Overview:

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuous operation of our critical site. Working on a continental shift pattern consisting of days and nights (7-7), you will be responsible for conducting both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to maintain the site's functionality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems within the facility.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a critical facility or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of building services and maintenance techniques.
• Electrical or mechanical qualifications are essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Willingness to work on a continental shift pattern (days and nights, 7-7).
