Thisr electrical design engineer role is to join an established international, multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 250 employees.

They provide tailored engineering solutions that deliver a high level of sustainability and innovation covering all market sectors, all scales of projects and all procurement routes, they work using the latest technology and the application of research-led design, innovation, and sustainable methodologies.

This role is to be part of a friendly, open, and professional team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

 You should be a well-organised, flexible, driven, forward planner with the ability to deliver work to a high standard and to tight timescales. You should also be able to take on the ability to manage the electrical engineering aspects of other more junior members of the team assisting on projects.

• Acting as Project Leader on selected projects
• Working as part of a larger team on certain projects
• Attending principal meetings and making client presentations on selected projects
• Help generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients.
• Working on a variety of technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectors
• Be client facing and involved in all stages of the projects from inception to completion.
• Working closely with others in a team environment to achieve a common goal.
• Producing drawings and specifications
• Producing calculations or guiding others to complete them.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• You will hold a degree in electrical or building services engineering (Chartered or working towards) or have a HNC or HND with suitable design experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of design in building services, post qualification completion
• Professional Membership (CIBSE, IET)
• An understanding and specification of incorporating various renewable technologies.
