Welder/Fabricator
We are recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to work for our client who are located in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES:
- Proficient welding techniques (Mig/Mag, Tig).
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply fabrication or welding techniques.
- Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material in accordance with engineering drawings.
- Must have a high mechanical aptitude and be able to use various mechanical hand / power tools and general engineering equipment.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in fabricating fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
- Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with supervisors / team members.
- Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work shifts.
- The ability to understand engineering drawing.
- Certificates in welding preferred.
THE HOURS:
You will work a day shift –
Monday – Thursday, 0800 – 1630, Fridays 0800 – 0330, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break = 39 hours per week.
THE PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate of £15.50 per hour.
