Placing Leaders are recruting on behalf of our client who are a well established contractor within the Architectural Glazing industry for a Quantity Surveyor.

Our client have an excellent reputation both as a contractor and also as an employer within the facades industry, this role offers both security and career progression in line with our clients' futuure plans.

As Quantity Surveyor you will have overall responsibility for delivering project swithin budget and project specification as tendered, in doing so continually searching for opportunities to improve financial performance and mitigate the commercial risks that may exist.

You will manage the financial aspects of the project from handover to completion in accordance with the contract requirements and  company procedures.

You will liaise with the client’s project team, contractors and other interfacing trades  to maintain relations ensuring that a good working relationship is developed.

You will also need to work closely with other internal departments including Estimating to assist with putting together successful tenders and will work closely with Projects staff to facillitate the successful delivery of projects.

We are ideally seeking someone with a background within either Structural Glazing, Architectural Aluminium, Curtain Walling, Glazing and Windows.  Other specialist sub contractors may also be considered.
