Senior Software Engineer – Dorchester – circa £55,000

Due to company growth, we are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer for a global supplier of ultrasound products. This company are leaders in their field developing acoustic materials and ultrasound for a range of various industries including medical and automotive. You will be joining a team of 5 engineers and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but established company which is part of a group of companies, with excellent employee retention.

The job role:

The Senior Software Engineer will have the following roles and responsibilities:

• Architect and lead the development of high quality software applications in LabVIEW for ultrasonic measuring systems
• Provide technical support to clients
• Write technical software documentation
• Mentor member of the software team to develop their LabVIEW skills
• Liaise with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

The Requirements:

Ideally for the role of Senior Software Engineer you will have the following:

• Degree qualified in STEM subject / discipline
• Ideally 3 years or more designing applications using LabVIEW
• You will be a Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA)
• Experience working in a scrum framework
• Knowledge and experience working with source code
• Prior experience working within ultrasound would be very desirable but not essential

The Package:

For the position of Senior Software Engineer, you will receive the following remuneration:

• Salary circa £45,000 - £55,000
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
