Controls Engineer (Automotive)
ARCA Resourcing is partnered with a global leader in mobility technology within the automotive industry who are looking to recruit a Controls Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of processes supporting powertrain control requirements.
- Develop, simulate, implement, troubleshoot, test, and explore control and estimation algorithms for diverse electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems within powertrain setups.
- Collaborate with suppliers and other relevant parties to assess hardware and software characteristics.
- Spearhead the creation of software and controls for electrified powertrains.
Experience:
- Proficient in automotive engineering with expertise in designing and validating electrified powertrain systems.
- Skilled in developing automotive control systems software, utilising data logging and calibration tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ideally you’ll have experience of some of the below:
- Electrified powertrain
- ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
- Vector (CANalyzer, CANape)
- Matlab/Simulink
