A well-established enterprise offering a comprehensive range of engineering services, in collaboration with businesses to enhance facilities management, serving clients across various industries including food & beverage, brewing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical, are seeking an Electrical Compliance Engineer on a permanent basis.

Info about what the role entails

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engineering compliance by executing compliance programs and completing documentation aligned to our compliance procedures. You would be involved with a variety of different process industry projects with some running simultaneously, the role will include travel to customer sites across the midlands, particularly the Northamptonshire area.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out DSEAR inspections
  • Research and identify applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes.
  • Documenting compliance by completing appropriate testing and inspections, assessments, recording results and preparing investigate reports.

Requirements of the Electrical Compliance Engineer

  • Experience working in an ATEX environment.
  • Electrical background
  • Knowledge of ATEX Directives/CompEx or DSEAR would be highly desirable
