Mobile LCV & LGV Technician Role

As an integral member of the depot, you will be customer focussed, travelling to various sites carrying out commercial vehicle inspections, servicing and repairs. The successful candidate will also support the existing team of technicians to ensure vehicle MOT standards are met and in compliance with the company's O license regulations. 

What are we looking for?

• To ensure all service and inspection documentation is correctly completed
• Accurate completion of job sheets and quantification of time
• Use of workshop equipment in a correct manner
• Contribute towards effective “preventative maintenance”
• Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times
• Correctly record the use of parts
• Supply own tools
• Complete all work to a “right first time standard”
• Prepare and submit vehicles to a standard appropriate for the issuing of an annual test certificate
• Communicate accurately with Foreman & Workshop Manager
• Ensure that knowledge is in line with modern technologies and developments applicable to the role
• Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required
• Ensure PF Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times

Essential:

• Previous experience within the commercial vehicle repair industry
• Full clean driving license
• Own tools

Desirable:

• HGV driving license
• IRTEC license
• Certified apprenticeship in vehicle motor repairs
