Office Based Mechanical Project Manager – Role Structure

This is an office based role working closely with the Senior Operations Manager, your Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Understanding design issues and being able to close them out.
• Understanding of commercial & financial implications with final sign off lying with the Senior Operations Manager
• Using the main contractors information platforms like 4P & Bim360.
• Issuing RFI’s and closing out.
• Understanding of equipment & schedules so tech sub’s can be issued and actioned.
• Producing standard programmes.
• Reviewing client documentation and actioning.
• Understanding of the procurement process.
• You’ll be handling variations on projects so you will need to be able to gather the information and put together variations.
• You will be setting up project information folders
• You will need to be flexible in your approach to the role as you will be managing multiple projects at the same time.

The company in question turnover circa £15m and have been operating for 30 years delivering projects across the Home Counties & London.

What Qualifications and Experience you will need:

• Mechanical qualifications in building services construction
• 2 years experience as a project manager minimum
• Previous experience delivering projects £2m - £5m
• Previous experience delivering commercial, residential or education projects
• SMSTS
• First Aid

What your Compensation will be:

The company are open to permanent or freelance members of staff offering £50,000 - £60,000.
