Role Purpose

Due to continued growth bridges are currently looking for an electrician supervisor on a permanent basis. This role will involve supervising electrical engineering works to be completed on site across London, and the rest of the South East region.

The Role

Core hours Monday to Friday, contracted to 40hrs per week on site hours. Paid hourly with overtime paid by the hour.
You will be paid your travel time door to door, on top of your contracted and overtime hours.

Company van can be provided and fuel card.

  • To be responsible for supervising electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to by the site teams
  • Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards.
  • To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment.
  • To coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices.
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.

Requirements

  • ECS gold card (essential)
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
  • Experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
  • Experience within water infrustructure industry
  • Good client engagement and communication skills
  • Able to manage own and others workload
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
  • CCNSG (or similar)
  • Full UK driving license

Desirable:

  • EUSR water hygiene
  • Thames water passport
  • Test and Inspect
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider
  • PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience
