GRINDER – UNIVERSAL CYLINDRICAL

We are recruiting for an experienced Universal Cylindrical Grinder to work for our client who are located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A GRINDER:

  • Produce high quality precision ground cylindrical parts – worldwide
  • Set up grinding machines / tool changes
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Inspect own work
  • Reading engineering drawings 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in precision cylindrical grinding
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Use inspection / measuring equipment

THE HOURS:

You will work a day shift - Monday-Thursday 7 am-3.30pm / Friday 7am-2.30pm

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of between £14 to £16.50 an hour depending on experience 

Benefits: -

Permanent position.

22 days plus Bank Holidays.

Overtime paid at x1.5

Pension.

Onsite parking
