Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Our client is a nationwide manufacturing business and a market leader in their field. The company are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to work within their maintenance function in their large North East based plant. The role will involve working on a weekly rotating 3 shift pattern.
Duties will include:
Planned and Preventative maintenance
Maintenance of electrical and special purpse equipment.
Making constant improvements, assisting in projects and involvement in continuous improvement
Ensuring plant downtime is maintained at a minimum.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
NVQ Level 3+ in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Three years practical experience in a fast moving manufacturing environment
Automotive experience would be preferred but not essential
Ideally experience with PLC
Working shift pattern is 6-2, 2-10 and 10-6.
Salary advertised includes shift allowance for the 3 shift pattern. Basic of £37,800
