Job Title: Production Planner

Working Model / Location: On Site / Nottingham

Salary + Benefits: 25,000 - 35,000 DOE

Sector: Metal / Fabrication

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules for laser cutting and powder coating operations.
•  Coordinate with the production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment of production plans with customer orders and inventory levels.
• Monitor production processes and workflow, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure materials and resources are available to meet production demands, working closely with suppliers and inventory management.
• Track and report on production performance, including on-time delivery, production costs, and efficiency metrics.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet stringent quality standards.
• Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in customer orders, production capacity, and unexpected disruptions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning processes and overall operational efficiency.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. (DESIRED)
• Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or a similar industry. (DESIRED)
• Proficiency in production planning software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
