Swift are seeking a skilled Production Fitter to join our clients expanding team. This position reports directly to the Workshop Manager.
Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday, 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Pay - £14.00 - £16.00 DOE OT paid at time and a half
Position Overview: Dynamic, quality-focused individuals who thrive in a positive and proactive team environment. The role of a Production Fitter is crucial to our clients final fitting team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install hydraulic cylinders, ensuring all measurements match engineering drawings to meet high manufacturing standards.
- Perform general mechanical engineering assembly and fitting.
- Identify and resolve faults, replace hydraulic cylinders, and conduct pressure tests.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Workshop Manager.
Skills and Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with hydraulics – Essential.
- Proven assembly/fitting experience – Essential.
- Previous experience in an engineering environment – Essential.
- Proficient in using various hand tools related to hydraulics and general fitting.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings – Essential.
