Site Manager (Nuclear) – Reading - Inside IR35 – SC Cleared

VIQU has partnered with a leading consultancy who deliver critical projects in energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing, with this role being part of the nuclear team.

Our client is recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of Electrical Control Systems on a nuclear site.

The successful candidate must be able to support the Engineers with installation, test, and commissioning activities, so a background in Electrical Engineering is paramount.

This role is based onsite in Reading.

Key skills & responsibilities for the Site Manager:

• Strong experience as a Site Manager within nuclear sector
• Background in electrical engineering & ability to support electrical installation / test / commissioning activities
• Hold a valid Safety Passport
• Awareness of NEC3/4 contracts
• Nominated point of contact for Health & Safety, First Aid. Relevant certifications required.
• CDM Training relevant to site
• Regular reporting & client liaison
• Good people management skills – staff & subcontractors
• SC Clearance

• Job role: Site Manager (nuclear)  
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months’ initial contract with view to extend
• Rate: £50 - £55 per hour  
• IR35 status: Inside IR35
• Location: Chester
