Electrician - control panels

Trant Te-Tech design, custom build and install a wide range of high quality control panels, motor control centres (MCC’s) and automation systems, offering conventional, intelligent and withdrawable systems with outstanding reliability and functionality.  

We are currently recruiting for Installation Electricians to join or growing team.   

You will be responsible for: 

  • Wiring, Testing, Installation and Commissioning of Control Panels, Motor Control Centres and Associated Equipment. 
  • Onsite Fault Finding and Modification of Electrical Control Systems. 
  • Equipment Selection and Purchasing. 
  • Pre-Contract Site Surveys.  
  • Creation of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Site Progress Reports and Other Site Paperwork. 

Applicants should have: 

  • Control panel wiring / installation knowledge  
  • 18th Edition wiring regulations 
  • CSCS / JIB / ECS card 
  • Professional demeanour, good customer facing & communication skills

You will be based from our head office in Southampton, however sites can be based across the UK and may require periods staying away from home Monday to Friday.
