Job Title: Associate Civil Engineer

Location: Belfast (Hybrid Basis)

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum + £5,500 car allowance

Our client, a leading global engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Associate Civil Engineer to join their growing water infrastructure team based in Belfast.

With a current headcount of 40 in Belfast, the business has plans to expand their presence in Northern Ireland and to capture more business across the country.

At present, this office is involved in a wide range of water infrastructure projects in collaboration with the following: South East Water, Severn Trent Water, Thames Water, Scottish Water, Northern Ireland Water, Saudi Water Company etc.

As an associate Civil Engineer, you will lead the design team on multiple frameworks whilst ensuring that projects are delivered successfully on time and to the highest standards in collaboration with various UK offices.

Responsibilities:

• Take a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Provide technical expertise, mentorship, and guidance to team members.
• Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the civil engineering department.

Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer status.
• Proven experience in leading design teams on large-scale civil engineering projects.
• Strong technical proficiency in relevant software and design tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel for project requirements.
