Metering Manager

London - Hybrid

£50,000 - £70,000 + excellent benefits package

We are excited to be supporting a standout organisation in the renewables sector who are looking for a Metering Manager. This role will be the subject matter expert for developing metering provisions and processes for cutting-edge Hydrogen schemes. Working alongside the Operational Assurance team, this position offers a unique opportunity to become a leading expert in metering, significantly shaping the direction and integrity of the industry’s future.

• Serve as the go-to expert for all Metering issues, driving the development of key first of a kind frameworks.
• Design and implement new processes, lead internal workshops, and ensure compliance with Production and Certification schemes.
• Oversee various metering contracts, ensuring seamless integration of metering assets into key communication systems for operational excellence.
• Engage actively in setting industry standards and contributing to the development of Hydrogen Metering on a broad scale.
• Analyse and optimize the interplay between Hydrogen Metering and other metering systems like electricity, gas, and CO2 within the framework of Hydrogen Production and Certification schemes.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is highly desirable, along with experience in electricity metering.
• Significant experience in operational metering (gas, offshore, or water).
• Strong background in designing processes and assurance plans with a sharp analytical mindset.
• Exceptional skills in managing complex technical concepts and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience in Hydrogen would be beneficial however we recognise that this is a first-of-a-kind position and welcome candidates with suitable transferable skills.
