Company: European Leading Manufacturer of bespoke technology

I am pleased to be working with Europe's leading manufacturer of bespoke solutions within the process and filtration industry. They are currently seeking a Design Manager due to expansion within the business, following their continued success.

They are well established having been in business for over 30 years, working on the full product life cycle on site at their very own HQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise Design Team work flow
  • Leading standard and bespoke product development, looking at DFM
  • Working with Sales & Proposals Teams on new projects
  • Participate in key client reviews
  • Responsible for team Continuous Improvement & efficiencies

Further responsibilities; Performance & Management Training, Objective/Goal Setting, Recruitment, and good leadership/communication across the business.

Essential Skills/Background:

  • Design Engineer career path with manufacturing business
  • Direct Design experience of Pressure Retaining Parts such as; skids, pipework, pressure vessel, filtration and similar equipment
  • You must have held a management/supervisory role
  • Commercial acumen is important, understanding company finances, resourcing and helping with strategic business decisions
