THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a busy engineering business in delivering technical products and integrated controls solutions to a range of industries.

You’ll take charge for the full project life cycle, starting with supporting the proposal development, ensuring customer requirements are met at all stages through to delivery.

You’ll ideally need to have previous experience in the automation industry, delivering technical solutions of an electrical and control system background.

DUTIES

• Full Project lifecycle management.
• Review and communicate stakeholder requirements to internal teams.
• Establish clear ownership for project tasks.
• Act as linchpin between customers and project team members.
• Conduct regular stakeholder engagement meetings.
• Troubleshoot technical issues when the need arises.
• Monitor and control project costs.
• Manage the documentation exchange (soft and hardware copies).
• Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet project goals.
• Secure the quality and timely delivery of goods and components.
• Organise and attend FAT and documentation.
• Attend site meetings and surveys with the customer.
• Responsible for the change order management and price variation/negotiation.

BACKGROUND

• Electrical/Electronic Engineering quaification
• Project Management qualifications
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project is required
• Experience with Sales/Proposals/Procurement/Projects
• Familiarity with the Automation industry.
• Available for UK and overseas travel (Circa 25%)
