Do you have the drive, skills and ability to work with our client as a Principal Engineer?

Their typical projects include river and coastal flood defence works, dams and reservoir remedial works and sea ports. They work on projects throughout their life cycle, from condition assessments and feasibility studies through to design and construction.

Their frameworks with multiple water companies and the Environment Agency provide them with a significant pipeline of work and associated exciting prospects. They embrace new technologies to design innovative outcomes that complement the environment and communities in which they reside; locally, nationally and globally.

The role will involve working with a respected technical team and working collaboratively to both secure and deliver work across their extensive client portfolio.

You will deliver tasks and projects from inception to handover, meeting quality, time and budget requirements whilst delivering activities for key local and national clients, maintaining and expanding a portfolio of strong relationships leading to new and repeat business. You will be inspiring and mentoring colleagues in developing their technical knowledge and understanding.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Civil Engineer with strengths in Civils and Structural Engineering; preferably in the field of river engineering and flood risk management, who has a track record of delivery of successful projects and the ability to support winning tenders.
