Tucked away near the scenic beauty of Redruth, our client, a niche business, is on the lookout for a Network Engineer maestro to join their tech symphony. Imagine being the virtuoso behind designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting a network infrastructure that's destined for greatness.
WORK HOURS: 08:45-17:15, Monday to Friday – because even tech wizards need their weekends!
YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT:
- Configure and install a variety of network devices and services like a boss.
- Dive into the world of network maintenance, system upgrades, and keep a vigilant eye on performance.
- Tackle troubleshooting challenges with the finesse of a digital Sherlock.
- Be the guardian of security software – always up to date, always on point.
- Test new and current features on a variety of software platforms.
- Play IT superhero by swiftly responding to hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Share your wisdom by training staff on the shiny new tech toys you install.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Proven hands-on experience in the realm of network engineering.
- Dive deep into networking protocols like IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, and dance with 802.11 and QoS.
- Understand the nuances of WiFi, wireless setups, point-to-point networks, OSI, and the TCP/IP model.
- Hungry for knowledge – always ready to learn and develop your skills.
- Juggle multiple projects with the finesse of a Cornwall circus performer.
- Analytical and organisational skills that leave others in awe.
