Polytec are looking for an HR / Office Manager for our client based just north of Cambridge.
Responsibilities:
* First point of contact for HR queries from members of staff
* Responsible for all recruitment for the Company
* Co-ordinating staff appraisals
* Administering the Company’s benefits programme: Service Awards, Cyclescheme
* Supporting the MD and providing additional support to senior team members
* Organising meetings / diary management
* Smooth day to day running of the office, ensuring housekeeping is of a high standard
* Liaison with external suppliers
* Administration regarding insurance, company cars, MOT’s, road tax
* Answering / screening calls via the switchboard and dealing with questions / taking messages in a professional and efficient manner
* General housekeeping – ordering all office and stationery supplies and ensuring supplies for our kitchen areas are maintained
* Organising internal and external meetings and organising / providing refreshments and working lunches as and when required
* Organising European and International travel, including booking flights; cars/taxis, hotel arrangements; producing itineraries and organising overseas visas
* Maintaining staff holiday and flexi-time systems
* Organising / overseeing company events
Requirements:
* Previous experience of working at a senior level in a similar role
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion related to the company and its employees
* Ability to prioritise
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Organised with excellent attention to detail
* Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes
