The role will be suited to Junior Software Engineer with PLM and Systems Administrator experience. The PLM Systems administrator will play a key role in all aspects of Software development, including but not limited to analysis, design, coding, and testing. You will also be involved in other aspects of the operations, including supporting delivery.


The role

  • The successful candidate will provide ongoing administration, operational maintenance and development of the business-critical platforms including Cost Price Quote (CPQ) platforms, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms, ERP (Enterprise and Resource Planning) Platforms.
  • You will use existing languages / frameworks / tools, and adopt new ones as needed.
  • Assist with the operational support of existing products.
  • Debug issues within the software and provide clear communication on resolutions and updates.
  • Provide data mining, analysis and report generation support when requested.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the products and asset portfolio.
  • Understand and apply modern best practices in software engineering including methods and practices that are effective for the specific context, including lifecycle models, architecture, design patterns, version control and documentation.
  • Use DevOps tools and technologies for efficient execution of engineering practices.


The person:

  • Degree, or equivalent in computer science, engineering, physics or similar
  • Proven expertise in one or more languages, frameworks, and technologies
  • Development on Windows, Git
  • Knowledge of all, or some of the following is highly advantageous: C#, .NET, WPF, C++, XML real-time control systems, embedded, firmware/PLC (e.g., B&R), interfaces (RS232/RS485/Ethernet), MS Visual Studio, Jira/Azure DevOps/GitLab/GitHub, SECS/GEM, ISO:9001/13485, Kanban, RUP
