As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weighing Equipment Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Weighing Equipment Engineer who will be responsible for calibrating industrial weighing equipment and laboratory scales, with occasional service and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in UKAS calibration of scales and possess excellent technical skills to ensure the accurate and reliable performance of our clients' equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform UKAS calibration of industrial weighing equipment and laboratory scales in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of weighing equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
Provide on-site calibration services to clients across the Midlands region, with occasional travel to locations further away.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and address any concerns or issues related to their weighing equipment.
Maintain accurate records of calibration and service activities, including calibration certificates and service reports.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new weighing equipment as needed.
Provide technical support and training to clients on the use and maintenance of weighing equipment.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Weighing Equipment Engineer, with a focus on calibrating industrial weighing equipment and laboratory scales.
UKAS accreditation for calibration activities is essential.
Strong technical background in electronics, mechanics, and metrology.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for on-site visits.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in a field service role is advantageous.
Salary and Benefits:

Competitive basic salary ranging from £28,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
