Quantity Surveyor

Belfast

We are currently working with one of the UK's leaders in the railway systems industry looking for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Commercial Team after a series of successful contract awards for critical rail infrastructure in Northern Ireland. This opportunity is suitable for someone operating at QS level looking for a new challenge OR an Assistant Quantity Surveyor not quite getting the progression you need looking to take a step up.

Responsibilities include:

- Independent commercial management of a series of contracts

- Deliver applications for payment and change control in line with the contract

- Lead on all commercial aspects of projects, including cost control, subcontract management and contractual documentation from cradle to grave

The suitable Quantity Surveyor will:

- Be degree qualified (BSc in Quantity Surveying)

- Have a minimum of 4 years experience, particularly within a rail environment

- Previously delivered contracts exceeding £5m

- Have the right to live and work in the UK

This is a permanent role with hybrid working but will require office presence at least 3 days per week.
