Principal Mechanical Engineer needed in Liverpool

About the Role:

As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll lead projects from conception to completion, generating proposal and tender documents. You'll manage technical and construction aspects of mechanical installations, attend design meetings, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in M&E consulting.
• HNC or degree qualified, preferably chartered or working towards chartership.
• Proficiency in Autocad/Revit and IES.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and produce high-quality designs.
• Strong team player with mentoring skills.
• Competent in designing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and water systems.

Responsibilities Include:

• Identifying training needs and managing staff.
• Assigning projects and ensuring CPD compliance.
• Liaising with clients and presenting at tender interviews.
• Identifying opportunities, preparing fee quotes, and case studies.
