WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The Halewood PVT department is part of the Product Engineering Quality function, driving quality improvements to current and future vehicle programs via problem solving, manufacturing plant support and implementation of engineering changes.

 

The successful candidate for this role will work with a cross functional team of Engineers to deliver Customer Love for Halewood car lines. The candidate will drive improvements in functional faults within the external warranty data, reduce manufacturing variability & deliver divert free vehicles while working in an Agile framework. 

 

This role will require strong working relationships to be developed and maintained with Manufacturing, COC Engineering, Supplier Parts Quality and Customer Care Quality. 


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Lead and manage the improvement to external metrics for Halewood current vehicles.    
  • Lead and manage the internal metrics to reduce manufacturing variability and drive a reduction in divert free vehicles via delivery of containments and working with the Engineering COCs to deliver PCAs.    
  • Lead and manage delivery of continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop the skills and experience of the team. 
  • Drive improvement of eNPS for Halewood PVT


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

Essential

  • Drive and motivation to achieve targets with minimal supervision 
  • Knowledge of product creation and quality processes 
  • Whole vehicle system and architecture knowledge 
  • Experience leading and motivating teams 
  • Project management experience 
  • Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships  
  • Ability to multi-task in pressurised situations
