Role: Engineering Manager

Contract: 6 months+

Rate: £650 - £800/per day Umbrella, Inside IR35 (dependent on experience)

Location: Hybrid working: required to be on site in Lancashire 2 times per month

: required to travel to contractor offices 2-3 times per month

SRG are currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join a global chemicals company on an initial 6-month contract with the view of extension based in Lancashire.

The Engineering Manager will work closely with Project Managers on specific projects, managing a small, multi-disciplinary engineering team and managing the engineering design ensuring all engineering activities on the project are undertaken effectively.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Ensure effective technical coordination with EPCM contractors, internal team and third-party representatives
• Ensure relevant specification documents are prepared in adherence to procedures
• Manage design change control and close out of hazard study items
• Manage and lead a small, multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team through the full project lifecycle
• Experience as a lead engineer in Front End Engineering and Detail Engineering.
