Our client is looking for a Geo-environmental or Engineering Geologist to join their brand new fifth office in Manchester. The role

The successful candidate will be directly under the new office lead, An extensively experience Geo-environmental consultant who has prior experience mentoring and managing engineers up to senior grade.

  • Day to day includes phase I & II environmental reporting, including contaminated land risk assessments. Geotechnical and environmental factual & interpretive reporting, including foundation recommendations.

  • Analyse soil and rock properties, providing expert advice on foundation design and construction.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Contributing to the growth of the company through your dedication and expertise.

  • Balanced workload between primarily local sites and the office.

  • Diverse range of projects spanning various sectors, including Commercial, Residential, Infrastructure and Industrial

  • Involvement in project management for smaller-scale projects, with input from start to finish.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in environmental/earth science, geology or engineering geology.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience relating to the majority of the role details.
