Are you a Civil Design Engineer with extensive experience on railway stations?

Do you have experience of liaising directly with Network Rail on such projects?

Location: Remote with occasional site visits
Rate: £350 per day inside IR35
Contract Length: 3 months+

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading contractor in infrastructure across highways and rail. As part of the Highway Improvement project, a £multi-million scheme, the successful candidate will be expected to assist with the design of station infrastructure including forecourts and car parks.

This role requires expertise in AutoCAD and Civils3D. Previous experience of working directly for or alongside Network Rail would be highly desirable but not essential. Additional experience of participating in HAZID workshops would also be desirable but not essential.

This role would be an initial 3 month contract with a capacity to extend thereafter. This role has been deemed inside IR35 with a day rate of £350 per day umbrella.

This role can be worked remotely with occasional site visits expected.

Essential:

  • Rail Station experience
  • Previous experience of interfacing with Network Rail
  • AutoCAD and Civils3D experience


Desirable:

  • Previous participation in HAZID workshops
