Perm role, £15-£16p/hr DOE, 4 On/4 Off (2 Days & 2 Nights), Weekly Pay, x4 Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Cycle to Work Scheme

Interaction Recruitment are looking for an experienced Shift Process Operator to work on the Production Team of their clients, based near to Widnes.

Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will be overseeing the production process of the chemical plant facility by monitoring equipment and ensuring the quality, efficiency, and safety of the manufacturing plant. Day to day tasks will include:

-Monitoring condition of process

-Data logging and archiving

-Stock management of sufficient resources to deliver planned activity

-Working closely with the Lab Department

-Supervision of goods in and out, including loading unloading of road tankers and using forklift trucks

-Ensure that any problems are reported to the relevant manager/department immediately

Key skills and qualifications required for this role are:

-Previous chemical process experience would be an advantage

-Good attention to detail

-Good working knowledge of MS office applications

-A good level of computer literacy

-Counterbalance FLT License

-MEWPS and PASMA certifications would be advantageous

You will be required to work a Continental shift pattern, 12hr shifts, 2days/2nights then 4 days off. The Pay Rate for this role is £15-£16p/hr DOE. As this is a 24/7 site you are required to work on a shift rota basis which will include shifts covering weekends and bank holidays.
