Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSEQ Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Site Manager and collaborating closely with the manufacturing management team, the HSEQ Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ management systems in accordance with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
- Lead and oversee all aspects of health, safety, environmental, and quality management, including risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Provide expert guidance and support to manufacturing operations, ensuring safe practices and environmental sustainability.
- Manage COMAH compliance, including reporting and emergency response procedures.
- Drive a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement through effective communication and training programs.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure compliance with legal and industry requirements.
- Lead and support change management initiatives, promoting a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks and opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; environmental master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the petrochemical or chemical manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience with wastewater byproducts and environmental management.
- Demonstrated experience with COMAH regulations and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 standards, and NEBOSH certification.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problemsolving skills.
- Proven ability to drive change and implement best practices effectively.
