The Engineering Manager will possess a comprehensive range of chemical plant knowledge and management experience, ideally with an engineering degree (Electrical or Mechanical biased) to provide effective support and control over maintenance activities, systems, equipment and processes.
 
The role will require a strong multi discipline diverse background with experience gained working on a top tier CoMAH site managing people, assets and utilities all within corresponding appropriate environmental, health & safety legislative requirements.


Key Skills and Requirements...

  • Budgeting control experience
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Project management experience including CDM regulations
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Possess a range of investigative / analysis techniques to enhance and aid troubleshooting
  • Fully competent with legislative paperwork requirements, such as experience in a highly regulated industry (HSE and Environment Agency
  • Manage the engineering department - in total a team of nine
  • Understand the importance of making the most of what the site has - investment is happening - but there is old kit
  • Develop an asset management plan, improve PPM and reliability of machines
  • Experience with pipes, boilers, and pressure systems would be advantageous

This site has exciting plans and confirmed heavy investment - current CapEx is c£500k per year
