Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with a background in Defence / Marine / Aerospace or similar looking to work for a business who design the electrical systems for some of the most exciting MOD naval ship and submarines in the UK such as the Type 45 Destroyer & SSN-AUKUS, providing training on all of their internal systems and the exposure to work from concept to production?

This company work with a prestige Marine design business who have been in operation since the 1800s that specialise in the design of electrical control and instrumental systems for naval ships and submarines commissioned for cliental such as the British Royal Navy. With a focus on innovation and quality, they serves a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, defense, marine, and rail.Top of Form

In this role you will enter into a team of electrical design engineers working on multiple projects with a focus on producing documentation for projects such as test plans, performance calculations and component selection justifications. You will be working within the team to support the design process and ensure that system designs comply with internal and external safety and legal standards.

This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer looking to enter into a market leading business in the design of electrical systems for the marine industry, take on a variety of projects, receive industry training and progress their career into senior positions.

THE ROLE

• Creating documents for design processes
• Work with the design team to ensure client and legislative standards
• Ensure technical compliance of projects with legislative standards

THE PERSON

• Electrical Design Engineer or similar
• Background in Defence / Aerospace / Marine technology or similar
• Commutable to Birmingham
