Questech Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the team at a well established manufacturing company in Market Harborough.

**Due to the location having your own transport is essential**

The Role

The shift pattern includes working an average of 48 hours per week across 5 days, some weekends will be required. This role is days only.

The hours: Mondays 07.00-17:00 / Other days 07:00 – 16:30.

The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained, ideally to level 3, and will work as part of a knowledgeable team to ensure that all plant, equipment, buildings and infrastructure are maintained in accordance with current health, safety, environmental and equipment legislation standards.

• Working closely with production to maximise utilisation of site assets
• Maintain maximum effectiveness and benefit from existing site equipment
• Assist with development of new manufacturing methods
• Proactively drive improvement and cost savings of energy and utilities whilst maintaining the ability to meet varying and increasing demands from production
• Work cross functionally to deliver a consistent and dynamic approach to continuous improvement
• To ensure all work is completed in compliance with safe working procedures
• Adherence of the PPM system, complete and on time
• Completion of all relevant, statutory documentation.
