We are currently recruiting for Punch press setter/operator for a bespoke sheet metal engineering company. This position is for a well established company who are continuing to work through the lockdown period. Health and safety measures are in place to protect against Covid-19
The Job Role
- Setting and operating on Amada punch press machine
- Reading from engineering drawings and liaising with the design team.
- Working with a variety of materials such as mild/stainless and aluminium
- Working a bespoke products.
Experience/Requirements
- Punch Press experience would be advantageous.
- 2 +years experience on Amada punch press machines would be advantageous
- Previous experience working with mild steel
The Package
- 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
- Starting rate between £10.50- £11.50
- Free staff parking
- Opportunity for overtime in the future.
